Assessment in the English Classroom AATE/ALEA National Conference “Go with it”
Dr. Radford has just wrapped up attending the 3 day AATE/ALEA 2023 National Conference in Canberra jointly hosted by the Australian Association for the Teaching of English and the Australian Literacy Educators’ Association. Dr. Radford presented ‘Assessment in the English classroom: the intersection of theory and practice’ to a packed audience. She discussed the foundations and requirements of standards-referencing systems and how English teachers could operate effectively within it which enables teachers to create more valid assessments and assist their students to achieve the learning outcomes.
